Counterfeit versions of Floppity exist. Check for the following common indicators before purchasing this Beanie Baby:

1. The counterfeit version of Floppity has a broader head than the authentic version.
2. The counterfeit has a deeper lavender color than the authentic version.
3. The counterfeit version has no bridge across its nose.
4. The whiskers on the counterfeit version are made of only single strand thread.
5. The counterfeit has a ribbon that is one-sided. It is too bright pink, shiny and wide.
