The brown versions of Cookie (above) are Ty field representative samples that
were used to introduce authorized Ty retailers to the upcoming product. In this
case, the version of Cookie that ultimately shipped
for Valentine 2012 turned out to be a different color than the field
representative samples.
The field representative samples also had a spelling error in the swing tag
poem. "When I see you I was my tail" was corrected to read "When I see you I wag
my tail" in the pink version that shipped to retailers.

In early January 2012, the white and tan Valentine version of Cookie that was
previously believed to be a limited Ty field representative sample showed up as
a retail product in Walgreens stores. It also appeared for sale in Germany. The spelling error in the swing tag had
been corrected in the retail version.
The white and tan versions of this Cookie
have the same style numbers as the white and pink versions.
