1999 McDonalds promotion - USA
The 1999 Happy Meal promotion at McDonalds ran from May 21 through June 17. The Teenie Beanie Babies were individually packaged in small plastic bags and given to customers who purchased a Happy Meal or other food item. There were 12 different Teenie Beanie Baby animals in the first phase of the promotion that ran from May 21 through June 3; four International Bears (below) available from June 3 through June 17; and one McDonalds crew exclusive bear presented to employees on May 21. The International bears sold for $2.49 with the purchase of any food item.
The 1999 Teenie Beanie Baby promotion was accompanied by similarly themed Happy Meal bags, McDonalds signs and other McDonalds items.
