Monstaz were silently introduced through 15 select stores in Columbus, Ohio, in
early November 2011. The general release versions were officially announced in
the Ty catalog on January 2, 2012, and shipped to Ty retailers nationwide near
the end of January 2012.
The general release version of Rocko is almost identical to the
test-market version except that the tush tag is
narrower on the general release version.
Rocko has a new poem and birthday (above) that previously belonged to test-market
Lola.
