1. The tush tag number (column 2) refers to the 3-digit number inside of the oval Chinese factory stamp that appears on the inside of the looped tush tag on many (not all) Peace Beanie Babies produced in China. Peace bears made in Indonesia do not have these numbers or stamps.
2. The list on this page shows all of the variations we have "confirmed" for the original Peace bear (style 4053). There may be other variations (not on this list) but we can not add them unless we are able to personally verify they exist. We have seen other lists of Peace variations where it appears the authors "speculated" about the existence of some of the variations. If you have a variation that is not listed, please notify us and we can add it to the list after we have verified (photograph or live visual) that it exists.
3. Peace Beanie Babies with a head shape that resembles the old-face Beanie Baby bears sometimes show up on secondary market sales sites like eBay. These were not intentionally made by Ty. They are created when the thread around the eyes has been accidentally omitted or intentionally removed. Since it can not be determined whether the missing thread is a factory error or an intentional modification, oddities like this do not have increased values.
