Ty Pillow Pals Tags


Reference publications and experts sometimes disagree about swing tag generations. In the case of the Pillow Pal swing tags, the Ty Beanies Tracker, Third Edition (2007), states there are two generations of swing tags with the first generation having three variations. Due to the fact that these "variations" are significantly different from each other and would qualify as separate generations for other Ty product families, we have elected to categorize the Pillow Pal swing tags into four separate generations.

1st generation swing tag

This tag is larger than the tags that followed.

Smaller than the 1st generation swing tag, with different information on the inside left and back of the tag.

2nd generation tush tags appear on almost all of the Pillow Pals. The 1st generation tag is rare. The year on the tush tag is Ty's copyright year for the product, not necessarily the year the product was introduced.
