ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. It appears the Ty production teams were confused about the difference between iguanas and chameleons. That resulted in the production of Iggy and Rainbow (style 4037) with similar appearances but incorrect names.
2. There are four versions of Iggy:
Tie-dyed, no tongue. The swing tag can be attached to the spine or the foot. They can have P.V.C. or P.E. pellets.
Pastel, with tongue. The swing tag is attached to the spine.
Neon, with tongue. The swing tag is attached to the spine.
Blue, no tongue. The swing tag can be attached to the spine or the foot.
3. Collectors are sometimes confused by iguana versions of Rainbow and chameleon versions of Iggy, but at the times they were produced, they were intentionally produced that way. It is better to regard them as "concept" flaws than to categorize them as oddities or errors. There were so many of each version of Iggy & Rainbow produced that they are unlikely to ever become rare.
KNOWN ODDITIES
