During the February 2004 New York Toy Fair, retailers who placed orders were given this show exclusive New York Beanie Baby and could also order the retail version New York Beanie Baby (style 40050). The retail version has New York spelled out on the bear's chest. Both versions have the same poem inside the swing tag.
