On April 1, 2016, Ty initially released seven Beanie Babies representing characters in the Universal Studios movie "The Secret Life of Pets," which premiered in theaters on July 7 & 8, 2016. Norman and Sweetpea, two additional characters from the movie, were not intruduced until June 2017.
