ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is the second version of America. The first was blue in color. All profits from the sale of the blue America were
allocated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for 9/11. Profits from the sale of the white America were
allocated to each buyer's local Red Cross (probably based on the zip code provided online at the time of purchase).
A Ty signed white America sold for $7,300 on Ebay for the American Red Cross on May 02, 2002.
Several weeks after the white America was introduced at the Ty online store, Ty switched the pattern of the Beanie's
ears and buyers started receiving white America with switched ears. This was intended to motivate people to buy
more white America bears.
There are five other versions of America.
